hATTR amyloidosis is one of multiple types of amyloidosis, including amyloid A (AA), wild-type ATTR amyloidosis, and amyloid light chain (AL). It's important to know which type of amyloidosis you have to determine the best plan of action.

Heart
Digestive system
It’s more common in certain ethnicities
Although anyone can be at risk for this disease, it is more common for certain ethnicities, such as people of African American, Portuguese, Irish, Brazilian, French, Japanese, and Swedish descent.
